The highly anticipated Noida International Airport, also referred to as Jewar Airport, is gearing up to provide enhanced connectivity to the regions of Haryana and Uttarakhand. Although the airport is not yet operational, initiatives are being implemented to ensure smooth access for travelers. A luxury bus service is in the works to facilitate seamless transportation to the airport and various inter-state locations. This service will not only cater to passengers heading to Noida airport but will also benefit those traveling to other destinations along the route.
Direct Transport to Key Religious and Tourist Destinations
According to airport authorities, travelers arriving from both domestic and international locations will have direct access to air-conditioned luxury buses that will take them to significant destinations such as Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Mussoorie in Uttarakhand. This initiative aims to promote tourism and ease travel for domestic passengers.
Collaboration with Haryana Roadways
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been established with Haryana Roadways to facilitate the operation of luxury buses from key areas including Gurugram, Faridabad, and Chandigarh to Noida International Airport. This collaboration is expected to enhance connectivity within the National Capital Region (NCR), providing passengers with direct and comfortable travel options.
Connecting Western Uttar Pradesh
Air-conditioned buses will also be available from cities such as Agra, Meerut, and Ghaziabad, positioning Noida Airport as a central transit hub for western Uttar Pradesh. Furthermore, the Airport Authority has devised a special plan for city buses that will operate from various sectors in Noida, traveling via the expressway to Jewar Airport, and passing through Greater Noida, Dankaur, Gaur Yamuna City, Yamuna City, and Rabupura.
Partnership with Rapido for Last-Mile Connectivity
Recently, the airport has partnered with Rapido to provide efficient last-mile mobility solutions. The NIA expressed their enthusiasm on social media, stating, "We are pleased to join hands with Rapido to offer seamless and reliable last-mile mobility solutions. With 24/7 availability and designated pick-up zones, this partnership will ensure a smooth travel experience for passengers, further establishing #NIAirport as a future-ready facility."
